I truely don't believe that there is a friendlier and more solidary country than Dominican Republic. We must be the only country in which people --literally-- cook more than the necesary for the family just because in case someone come at the last minute or they notice that somebody is walking by and look hungry. Which other country do that? That is one of the things that turn the balance to make me proud of being dominican

I agree with the position that it is totally based on a person’s goals and preferences. I can tell you this, that we have always made money through investing and buying our own property and then reselling. We own a two bedroom apartment in Santiago that is paid for and it is now generating monthly income. That property will be available for us to retire in Santiago someday if we would like. Our home up here in Michigan is not paid for, but we have a lot of equity in it and when we sell it, we will be able to put all that money in the bank tax-free, which will also generate interest income or be available for whatever we need we have in retirement so for us buying has been a good investment. The American Dollar is Fiat. Meaning that it is based on the fact that it is widely accepted throughout the World.

People are ridiculous. They talk about things that they have no knowledge of. I have a Masters in Economics, and I will tell you that the American Dollar, I say American because other Countries have Dollars as their currency also. But the American Dollar gets it's power from the United States Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Meaning that it is not backed by Gold or any other commodity, but by the fact that the US has Products that many Countries and their Citizens want to purchase. For instance, you can't go to Disney world and use Pesos to buy a ticket or purchase food, you have to convert those Pesos into American Dollars, and for those who say, "well what about Disney Land Paris, or other Disney Parks in Foreign Countries". Yes you can use that Country's currency at the Parks, but that Park has to convert their Profits to American Dollars in order to pay The Disney Corporation. So someone taking their pension and moving to another Country does not affect the value of the American Dollar, if anything it makes it stronger by increasing its Demand abroad. I could go into this deeper, but as you can see, this little bit right here is long enough.

Yeah, I’m still not used to cold or lukewarm showers. The last place I stayed at, I rented last minute. The place itself wasn’t that great but the water was piping hot. I couldn’t believe it. I would stay there again just because of that. My granddaughter stopped the toilet up in one of the places we stayed in. After that incident, wherever I stay, I get to wrapping as James said 😂😂😂
